My Big Mac G5 died . . ! Leaving behind one orphan, a Polaroid 35+ film scanner with SCSI conection.
Any chance to find a way to bring it up via adapter, cable etc. ? Have iMac, Power Book, MacMini server

Have you tried eBay?
You should see if you can find a used one somewhere. I have used that Ratoc adapter in the past and it worked perfectly with all kinds of SCSI peripherals, including film scanners, no driver needed. Worked much better than SCSI cards in desktops.
